Manager - Sales Coordination, Fish Business Unit - Intl Sales and Marketing

The Role

Reporting Initially to Director - Fish Division, the Manager - Sales Coordination shall be responsible for the following:

The key role is to coordinate the Fish Business Unit International short and medium term sales plan with Regional Sales Managers, associated Distribution Businesses and directly through Major Customers.

The role will provide administrative and operational support to International Sales through coordinating and communicating with production and Logistic departments to fulfil the timely delivery of the Sales plan.


Nature and Scope of Job

The Manager- Sales Coordination is responsible to provide Sales data and other Sales related information / analysis to all the Regional Managers / the Director and operational managers. This will include presentations and coordination of sales support material e.g. catalogues.

The Manager- Sales Coordination will monitor the sales volume of each markets/regions/customer among the various products mixes by grades and assist the Reginal Managers for a better planning and allocations of each available grade. This will include maintenance of a database of Return to FBU at WRE ex-factory level.

Nature and Scope of Job
  • Coordinate the detailed weekly and monthly sales demand plan.
  • Track in detail delivery of products both Fresh and Frozen from export (KSA) to arrival with customer.
  • Assist and Coordinate best shipment routes and development of contracts with lowest cost logistic providers.
  • Take part & assist in developing Sales Planning in accordance with the Sales and Marketing Strategy.
  • Develop weekly and monthly Sales analysis reports of each Markets / Region by Customer in comparison with the Annual Sales Plan and Volume Budget.
  • Developing periodic Sales analysis reports of each market & region as required.
  • Provide return analysis by main product type / market in WRE ex-Factory taking account of all associated on costs and including packaging materials.
  • Review the Stock Inventory Levels and provide a weekly stock report for appropriate sales of the stock on hand. Including alerts for ageing stocks.
  • Ensure accuracy of stock list in Cold store and assist in quality checks of cold store operations.
  • Use Infor LN system to its full capacity vis-à-vis functions and modules, and if necessary other Software packages, for efficient and effective operations of the unit.
  • Develop Spreadsheet analysis as standalone or for further analysis of database information as required.
  • Responsible for liaison with Materials Management Department and for the issuing, filing and following up of all Sales and Marketing Store Requisitions and Purchase orders and to ensure accurate and timely obtain of materials by following Material Management Department.
  • Report any pricing variables for each customer/product/region wise and advice the Reginal Managers.
  • Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on OPEX variances.
  • Liaise with Finance department to provide Sales Collections data on a day to day basis and alert the Manager for action plan.
  • Responsible and custodian for the Customer Complaint’s received from Intl Sales to organize a filing and to assist the reporting manager for its further actions and follow-ups till it get closed.
  • Establish and maintain functioning working relationships with other NAQUA operational units.
  • Any other tasks required by the Director.
Qualifications and Requirement

To be considered for this role, the candidate is expected to have: A minimum of 5 years’ experience at management level in Sales & Marketing of Marine Fish with proven competence in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy.

Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution, Business Administration or Management College or University with major course work in Sales & Marketing, or Commerce, Food Science or Technology with major in sea food. Preferably Master Degree in Business Management with major subject on Sales & Marketing.
  • Suitable candidates must match the above scope of responsibilities and must have the clear potential to succeed.
  • Data Analytical Skill with Decision Making Reporting.
  • Commercial experiences in Sales Planning and Variance Analytical Skills.
  • MUST have proven excellent English communication skills in both written and verbal forms, including the ability to articulate a position and provide convincing rationale for implementation.
  • Excellent Communication skills and understanding of the importance of cultural differences.
  • MUST have a deep knowledge and experiences in Advanced Excel, Power Point Presentation and Access.
  • Team Player and Self Motivated.
  • Innovative thinker able to support the development of international sales.
  • Executive Report Writing and Presentation Preparation Skill.
  • Demonstrated experience in

  • Personal Qualities (to establish and sustain the accepted leadership at all levels of the operation)
